from the European Federation of Married Catholic Priests

The decision of the Vatican to open its doors and welcome in groups of married Anglican priests who are in disagreement with the decision of their own church to be more all-embracing has obvious consequences: it not only sends out ambiguous signals as regards ecumenism but it is also seen as another slap in the face for the many Roman Catholic priests who have married and have continued to be faithful to their church. All three continental federations of Roman Catholic married priests (Europe, The Philippines and Latin America) are in complete agreement with this statement.
