The Coordination Group of Redes Cristianas proposed a competition for the 1st Redes Cristianas Prize for the best article (in Spanish) that "dares you to dream of the best way to collectively follow Jesus in the new society that is establishing itself in our midst."
The article had to be fresh and not distributed anywhere but could be sent from anywhere in the world and have an extension of between 8,000 and 12,000 characters, including spaces. The first prize had an award of €500 and a stay in a local grassroots christian community chosen by the winner. Two additional awards were scheduled for NGOs that promoted the aims and objectives of Redes Cristianas. The jury consisted of the organizing committee of Redes Cristianas, counselled by four foremost Spanish catholic intellectuals, two women and two men.
16 articles were presented by the deadline of 31st December 2025 and
the Coordination Group of Redes Cristianas has now published them on its website.
